Taking after Aunt Sis

Don't mind the hair, it was a rough day for napping.
I gave her some bread and butter to go with dinner tonight, and she decided to lick it instead of eat it.
(Those who know Aunt Sis get this a little more. Long story short...Sis loves butter.)

She did eventually eat it, but Daddy thought Sis would enjoy the tribute.
:)

Mar. 27- Peek-a-boo

She is really into playing peek-a-boo lately...with just about anything she can find.

"I see you."

Playing at the FFY

Sometimes on Fridays we go to the FFY and play in the gym.

She always has a great time, and gets to run around.

Mar. 25- Spaghetti face

There is just no neat way for a toddler to eat spaghetti.

At least she's having a good time, right?

Mar. 22- Dad's hat again

Elise found Dad's hat. I think she knows that it will get her attention. And of course Dad used it as a chance to snap a few pictures.

Mar. 21- Walking in someone else's shoes

She found a pair of my shoes.

Mar. 20- Sticker

Got her hair into pigtails.  Just too cute!

Again! More playing outside. I think we could all get used to this nice weather.

Something new Daddy taught me. (if you can't tell, it's a sticker)

Mar.17 - playing with food

Elise kept putting pieces of apple on top of the sliced carrots say "It's a boat."
Just thought it was funny.

Cheese face! In the swing...I have a feeling I will be spending a lot of time outside this summer.

Mar. 16- Field Trip

On Wed. March 16, 2011 Elise and I went on our first field trip to the Fire Station.

These hose pieces were about the only things that she could see from the ground because everything was so big. At least she got to get close enough to touch them.

I think she had a good time because she kept asking, "What's that, what's that?"

Standing on the front of the fire truck with Addison.
All in all, it turned out to be a great day!

Mar. 15- No survivors

Since the time change, naps have been a little rough. And today was no exception. Guess she didn't want anyone in the crib with her.
Nothing survived, not even Lion. At least she got some kind of nap.

Mar. 12- New Dress

Elise got this dress for Christmas, so we thought we would give it a try. (Sorry Leinie got in the way)

I tried to pull her hair back into a pony tail again. It stayed a little better this time, but of course came out on the way to church.

Mar. 11- Dad's hat

I think we just got back from a walk, and Dad get Elise his hat. She thought it was fun to wear it.
Rosy cheeks and everything.
"my turn" ( I can put it on myself. )

Mar. 9 -What's for dinner?

I guess she wanted pizza for dinner that night. Checking out the coupons and ads.

Mar. 7- Ta Da!

Elise was quietly playing on the floor when I hear her proclaim, "Ta-Da!" At first I couldn't see what she had done, but then she showed me. And this is what she did. She was so proud of her self for stacking all the dice and them not falling over.
I tried to get a picture of her with her lovely tower that she worked on, but she didn't really care.

This was just too cute to pass up. Hanging with Leinie.

Mar. 6- Cindy Lou Who or Pebbles?

I guess I got her hair a little high on her head. I didn't realize it until I was finished.
Oh well, cute anyway, right?

Mar. 5- Playing piano

Definitely a girl after my own heart. I really hope that she continues to love music. Doesn't she look so happy and proud with Papa?

Practice makes perfect!

Today she was also practicing her bear crawl. For some reason she decided that it was really funny that she could get around like that.
