 When it comes to reading, Elise's new phrase is 'my turn.'

A Nice Day- Finally (Feb. 16)

She is really getting into tracing your hand when drawing.

It was finally a day nice enough to be outside. We are soooo ready for Spring! 

She is actually running her legs over the sidewalk, getting chalk all over her pants.

 I'm getting pretty good using a spoon.

She usually won't let me help and tells me "I do it." Fortunately it is getting in her mouth instead of on her bib.

 Elise decided that Lion needed to go for a ride.

Feb. 6-Rocking Chair

This is a rocking chair from when I was little. My grandfather (Dad'n #1) made it along with a cradle for baby dolls. She really seems to like sitting in it, and now that she is a little bigger she can get in and out of it herself.

 Again, apologies for the crazy hair. She just got up from her nap and of course she gets up, gets down and looks at books.

Friday Feb. 4- Eskimo Kisses

 For a few moments out of a rather tough day, Elise decided it was a good idea to give me some Eskimo kisses. These moments are the best!

Thursday Feb. 3

 Elise got this farm for Christmas. She seems to be having a great time. She pulls it out every couple of days, and will ask you to play with her on the floor. For some reason she really likes to play with Dad, but Mom will do most days while Dad is still at work.

Please excuse the hair. She is still suffering from a cold, and a little cranky when she wakes up from her nap. She wouldn't let me comb her hair.

Wednesday Feb. 2

 Today was a lucky day! Since the weather was so bad, Daddy got to stay home and play with us. 

*thought* "I really like to look at books."

It was also another great day to stay in and check out the new books.

She has such amazing concentration.

Jan. 30

Last weekend we visited Grammie and Dad'n. Apparently it was playtime at dinner. I think she was a little loopy from the cold that she had.

Yep, somehow I was lucky enough to catch the crossed eyes. I doubt I could do it again if I tried.

Jan. 31 & Feb. 1

I just wanted to remember these two days because Elise has been a little under the weather. I decided that I wasn't going to bug her and try to get a picture of her. She is doing a little better today, but still pretty congested.
