8 months

Wow, I am lazy. Writing once a month, and there has been so much going on. I'll put that is my excuse reason for not posting more. I really hope to catch up someday, but no promises.

Here are some pics from today of Maggie, who is now incredibly 8 months old. She now has 2 teeth, bottom middle ones. She is sitting up very well, and don't really need the pillow, but it makes me feel better. She isn't crawling yet, but it isn't too far away, as you will see in (at least) one of the pictures. Plus, I have seen her in her crib when she is mad and she is almost strong enough to put herself into a seated position from her belly.

She does like to stick her tongue out!

 Baby kisses!
Seriously content to chew on just about anything, and boy does she get mad if you take it away before she is done.

I'm pretty sure we have a similar picture of Elise doing the same 'stretch.'
 Sweet smiles.
She LOVES to chew on this book!

Hopefully both girls will always love books. And Maggie will outgrow wanting to chew on them.

Notice her position in the first picture, and then at the end. She can completely spin around. Also there is the one where if she was up on her hand she would practically be sitting.

 And...I'm done Mom!

 Wrinkle nose :)
Now, I don't normally take pictures of the kids in the tub, but she is pretty happy and I wanted to get a few more smile pictures. (sorry about the yellow pictures, I forgot to change the setting.)

She has figured out how to splash, which is really cute. And sometimes she is so focused it seems she is studying it.

 More tongue!
Looking at Dad making silly noises, ha.

7 months

Well, somehow month 6 went by so fast!
Maggie has changed a lot. She now has a tooth! You can't really see it, but you can feel it if she chews on your finger. (which I don't recommend) She still isn't crawling, but she is very active and sometimes hard to hold. I am pretty sure she will beat Elise and at least crawl before 10 months. She is sitting up pretty well, but I still put a pillow behind her because sometimes she gets mad and will flop back.

She is also quite vocal now which is pretty funny because Elise and she really get into squawks and squeals. They are going to be hilarious!

6 months

6 Months
24.5in
15lb 2.5oz
(between 25th and 50th percentile)
We don't have any major milestones reached yet. Not crawling and no teeth, but we have started introducing some foods. I am not overly excited about it and thankfully it really isn't part of her 'nutrition' yet. It adds one more thing 'to do' in the morning, and sometimes I am just not ready for that. We've done cereal, bananas, avocados, applesauce, and green beans. She still has a pretty strong tongue trust, so not a lot of it actually stays in her mouth. The other thing that she has gotten much better at recently is laughing/giggling. It is a lot easier to make her laugh and smile. The giggling is just the best! Her other real talent is reaching out, grabbing things and putting them in her mouth. Look out Elise! Your toys are going to be fair game soon.
 Pretty baby!

Happy smiles...Anyone else notice hints of dimples? Maybe I am just hopeful.

 Always chewing on something.

Sisters!

Aren't they too cute?!
I actually got them both looking at the camera. How I did that, I have no idea. Well, I guess it could be that I just kept saying their names and taking pictures as fast as I could. I probably have a dozen or more of utter chaos, but it only takes one, right?

Here are a few more that weren't too bad.

this just makes me laugh!

In their defense, the TV was on. Way too distracting.

AND...I'm done! (enough with the squishing)
